dOeK Festival#3

dOeK Festival #3 took take place in the Bimhuis in Amsterdam on Friday 6th and Saturday 7 th June. As the name suggeste, this was the third festival that dOeK presents. dOeK organized its first festival in december 2001 in the Felix Meritis in Amsterdam. In June 2002 dOeK took advantage of the fine facilities of the Bimhuis to present Festival #2. We all liked Festival #3 so much there that we are continuing the partnership for our fourth outing. Open recording session – this was a hit with all the participating musicians last year. The public gets the chance to hear the festival musicians play short sets in various combinations that are decided on the spot. And it’s free!
