He plays in various ensembles with his brother Guus, including Sound Lee and Janssen-Glerum-Janssen, in the Tuning The Tunes Trio and in other jazz en improvised music projects. Janssen is also a painter, and has had various solo exhibitions, including Galerie Paul Andriesse, Galerie De Expeditie, Ancien Etablissements Sacré in Luik and Galerie WitteveenTwee.
