 Han Buhrs: voice (1955) mixes existing and invented languages, self-written songs, poetry by others, newspaper fragments, and throat sounds together with improvised and composed music. Buhrs has his own group, Rubatong, plays with the POW Ensemble and French free rock group Un Mec Une Porte, and performs as a soloist. In the past he has played with Palinckx, The Schismatics, Sumbur, Diftong, Encore Plus Grande and The Ex. Buhrs has worked in several music-theatre programmes and programmes with dancers Angelika Oei and Katrina Brown. He has made numerous radio, TV and CD recordings.
